Leaving the port of Mahon behind we pass through isla de l’Aire (in front punta prima) towards cales coves where one of the oldest and highest lighthouses in the balearic islands can be seen.
Cales coves is home to several coves and prehistoric caves (hence its name) ideal for anchoring all kind of boats in its calm waters.
The illa de l’aire, a virgin islet of high natural value that due to its biodiversity of great ecological value anchoring is not allowed. However the area of passage between the coast and the islet has the color of its turquies green waters incomparable in Menorca.
